as per post in techy forums but wanna get a look at it today while its light and dry if possible!

Escort MFI 1.8 zvh turbo....

I want to drive it and get it set up but i really dont want to drive it as it is!

the car is a 1.8zvh. the car was running fine before but then broke an engine mount and ripped off a hose. by the time i stopped etc it had gotten very hot and blown the headgasket although still ran fine just got too hot.

ive now replaced the headgasket etc and fitted it with a stage3 head and kent cam. from a 100% working car.

now the car has 2 problems:

1) it doesnt like starting takes a long time to get it going. (always took a while though)
2) its completely powerless, i took it round the road a few times and it doesnt go anywhere completely flat not pulling revs at all feels like im in 5th at 20mph or something, didnt get uyp to 3k even to register any boost.

i guess these are timing related as i havnt really done nething else with the car i can think of that would do this. have you any ideas to help?
