Anyone wondering what the update was?

"Its a connectivity patch. It has matchmaking optimisation and improves performance and connectivity on the online part of the game. The US version of the game had this patch before Christmas. This meant the EU version and the US were no longer compatible so it wasn't possible for a EU player to play against a US player. It has taken longer to get this patch through SCEE certification, apparently some bugs were found and SCEE sent the patch back to Infinity Ward. This patch make the EU and US versions compatible again."

Which explains why last night COD was CRAP! I had beatboxing, rapping, crying, singing you name it coming through my speakers. You can't even mute players yet but I hear they're working on that.
