Another Avast user here.... I used AVG for years, I had to take my PC in for a repair a few years ago and it came back pre-loaded with Avast. Much prefer it to AVG, simple to set up and once you have... that's it, forget about it, it updates automatically everyday and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day.

I only use Ad-Aware for spyware alongside it.
