I'm trying to undo the rear n/s hub nut so that I can change the rear suspension arm on my Sapphire Cosworth.

I've got a 41mm socket onto a 2 1/2ft bar even with jumping on the bar is not shifting the nut.

Is there an easier way that is wort trying?

Also, are these threads directional, as I'm trying to undo this nut anti-clockwise?

Help, this rear arm needs to be changed for its MOT!
