I recently had a bidder ask me a question in the last minute of an auction, saying she would bid if she was allowed to pull it if it wasn't what she wanted. before I could reply, she bid, the auction ended, I sent my reply and she said "Thanks, but it's not what I want so I won't bother" - as she had only bid £4.99 I wasn't that fussed and opened a dispute saying we mutually agreed not to proceed. Ebay contacted her and she replied to confirm this.

I got my fees back and was released from a duty to sell to her, and she didn't have to buy it.

If you can agree to cancel the sale he can follow this procedure and then relist the item, this time confirming there is no history.

PS - I think both parties can still leave feedback so agree on that too!

PPS - I don't know about service intervals on a bike but would it be due a service in 2400 miles? If not, what history would there be?
