My dad is doing this at the moment. It's really strange only having the one contact lense in, but you will get used to it.

Edit to say, people are getting confused, if he has laser treatment on one eye, he wont need a contact in the other eye, his brain will learn to adjust.
He is just using one lense at the moment to see what its like.
