look mate i restore fords day in day out and dont think your car will need as much as you think if its an every day car there is no point doing underneith as it wont last the escort is easiest cosworth to do body wise as the parts come off easily id have to see it but i recon it is alot better car than your making out

get the whole underside of your car steam cleaned and then put it in a garage with a heater to dry it then have a proper look underneith

i would charge around £2500 to do the outside of the car and inside all shuts as striping the inside and painting it is pointless unless you want money waisted
id strip the top out of the engine bay and do down to the legs as and sort the bat tray

and if it is being used every day the underside needs a coat of wax oil to stop it rusting use clear as black just looks like shults and is a mess
