Dunno then. I'm no Cossie expert, I only bought it 2 weeks ago!!

I have no reason to disbelive him as to what it ran, and I have the graph. He said that he used to have an engine dyno, and cars ran about 30-40 bhp less on the dyna pack than they did on the engine dyno.

Perhaps I am completely wrong and there's not a hope in hell of 400 on a .48. But again, there's no reason to lie to me - I only had it in for a set up to check fuelling etc.

It is a still very fresh engine - less than 12k now from a FULL rebuild including bore, ground crank, fresh head etc. And when it ran the 403 it would have been about 9k on the new build.

Need someone who REALLY knows their stuff to answer. not saying you don't, but one of the well known and knowledgeable tuners.)
