Why's it too risky?
The RS500 touring cars never ran dump valves - I think their engines and boost are above what most people run.
D/V's are NOT a must-have on RST's. Christian's car runs without a d/v and is over 300bhp and doesn't have running issues or turbo problems.

You will hear it with mfi, but not as much as with efi.
The way i read it, he saying it was to risky running the car without an
airfilter 
He didnt even mention a dump valve in his reply
