Mine are a bit of a mix and match and its been a bit of a trail and error exercise as well to get it to do what I wanted.

Have a look on here for some more info and I'm sure theres a few guidelines that will come in handy :

Go wired if you can (no interference issues) and you can always take that with you when you move. If you can live with wires partially hidden, etc. If your fitting it outside then sound is a must but it takes a bit of time getting used to it.
