I used std side light bulb holders from a saff (scrap yard jobbie) with std side light bulbs and just drilled a 12.5mm hole below the std indicator bulb holder and wire the 2 wires from each holder to the normal wiring for the side light.
The indicators are still as before as the std indicator bulb is still present.
Know what ya mean about the rims.... but at £255 for 4 18" rims without tyres was a good buy (paid £120 for repaint and removalof the "Drifz" logo and £5 for Ford centre badges)
