na you pour founds. Build footings up to dpc then you can either do the slab OR if doing it later cut some 1m wide strips of visqueen and build these into the wall at dpc course so they lap onto the hardcore for the base. When the base is done then you lay visqueen down and it forms the sealed membrane required lapping into the dpc course. Have i done that clear cos i find it hard putting stuff into words
