It's not going to be any better than the RGB socket unless the card is HD compatible.
You could use the RGB inputs on the TV (by RGB I pressume you are referring to the component inputs? If so, then RGB is the wrong term (another common misconception), as component is actually YUV, or YPrPb/YCrCp. RGB is actually closer to the analogue RGB found in VGA, and closer still to the RGB found in scart connections - which is three seperate pins for red, blue, green plus another for sync, plus another for luminence, whereas YPrPb has red blue and green phono connectors, but has to carry the sync on the green connector, and luminence on either red or blue - can't remember) but only if the PC supports RGB output from the VGA connection, and you'd need a VGA to 3 RCA cable.
