i was added on to my husbands bank acount (natwest) like 2 years ago now,

we are splitting up and i overdrew the account by 3k (there was nothing in it but had overdraft)
I Dont want him to get shafted for the debt, will the bank just take him off the account if we go together??? As i want to square up when my car sells.
