On the subject of securing your home I was wondering what alarm system/setup people use. My house is ex-council and has a super alarm but costs £280 odd a year to activate! (linked to police station etc).

I've been looking around and BT do a good wireless DIT kit for £180ish with remote monitoring for £5!

What do you guys use to protect ur homes?
