Default Brake judder on new discs?

Hi ppl, put myself a small upgrade of brakes on my MK5 Escort using Mondeo calipers and brand new RS2000 discs. All was fine for a couple of hundred miles but now there's a judder through the steering wheel when i'm braking.

I've only used the brakes hard twice just to test they work well, apart from that I brake well early but lightly all other times.

I've had new bottom arms on for about a 1000 miles now and put power flex bushes in them so they're like new.

The car's nice and smooth when off the brakes. The only things I can think of are perhaps the discs aren't flat on the hubs but then why were they perfect when I first drove it after fitment? If the hub(s) were bent the car would shake all the time at higher speeds. There doesn't seem to be any play in the steering but it's pretty stiff (non power steering).

Now the funny thing is the last brake setup (the car's original) did exactly the same shortly after fitting new discs and pads to the point where in about 3000 miles the car just about shook your teeth out when braking.

Any ideas/happened to you suggestions etc as i'm a bit stumped.

Oh the calipers are nice and free moving too so no binding etc...

Help! lol

Thanks.
