Ok the floodin in the Midlands is gettin REALLY bad again now... We had a call at work today,that we were havin in a "flood damaged" car from the floods.. Fair enough,thats scrap then...

At 11am,me boss said "ohhh will you go with Simon to help him get it",no worrys i thought..So off we went,to the middle of fuckin no where to go get it...

Get there,and we were faced with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So all we had was a wagon,and a 120foot steel cable.. So corse gubbins here ends up IN the fuckin river,in just normal boots,and normal trouser,in EASY -2/3 water,and bare in mind,its the middle of nowhere,in fuckin January!!!! THAT MEANS ITS COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So heres what hapend!!!


Get there,and were faced with that!!!






Now i must point out at this point,THERES NO KEYS IN IT,and the fuckin things on a lock!!!

As you can see in that pic,there s a block wall,on the right hand side,and as the car had floated down stream,it had banged in to the wall,and thrown 3 blouders into the water,so that made it EVEN FUCKIN HARDER!!!!

So nowt else to do,but just jump in!!!!!

Anyway.. After a hour or so,of using the bridge for leverage,and a minispine for the cable,we get it to about here...



So Si Brings the wagon forward,to (half in the FORD),and guess what,,GETS STUCK!!!!!!!!!



SO we start to drag it the final bit,and we hit a problem...



Now weve got the car to the ford itself,with the towin eye being on the O/S,and the angle were draggin it,we cant get it up,and had the car on 1 wheel at 1 point!! By this point,im REALLY cold,and REALLY pissed off!! Just wanna get it on the wagon,and get home!!!!




Anyway,we get the fucker out,and after another 30mins (cause the cars on lock) we finaly get it on the wagon and get out of there...




Considering we were told it was just in a ford,4hours later,its finaly out,and i have to say i feel like SHIT!!!!!

Anyway,good little read for you all...

JUST SEEN its on news at 10 tonight!!!!! So have a look,and you will see just how much of a job ive had to fuckin do today!!!!
