8 Miles shouldn't take you any mroe than half hour at most mate, but it depends on how often you ride etc.... - you could be mega fit, but being bike fit is something completely different!
Nice bike, I will stick with the normal tyres to start with then when the summer comes along get the slicks. Nice bike that.

Mine arrives at halford on monday, its one of the first 20 in the country, a full carbon hard tail Carrera Titan 20" bike, costing me £550 though the company scheme, normally its £1,000!!!!
