I average about 27ish km /h on the commute into work chap - 21k ride (each way)- thats on a mountain bike (normal gearing) with slicks:



8 Miles shouldn't take you any mroe than half hour at most mate, but it depends on how often you ride etc.... - you could be mega fit, but being bike fit is something completely different!
