Had similier problems with them a few weeks back. Car broke down on the A1 (Gearbox exploded) and I rung the AA @ 3:00am... Was told "No problem someone will be with you between 3:30 and 4am"

I fell asleep and woke up @ 4:30am by a Police Officer knocking on the window. I was told by the Officer if Im not gone within the hour they would send someone out to tow me off the motorway and charge me for it!!!! So got straight on the phone to the AA and explained the situation and said WTF is someone with a flat bed??? Was told "They will be with me in 20mins"

10mins later I got a call from the recovery bloke and he asked exactly where I was. He guessed I was between Junction 8 and 9 on the A1 (Just pass the Galleria tunnel) and said "We dont cover that area, you will need to get someone else out"... I wasn't fooking happy and rung the AA back! They said they will get someone else out to help...

Well, finally bout 2mins after getting off the phone to the AA the recovery bloke said he wil go out his way and come get me He turned up @ 5:30am and I got home @ at around 7:30 due to traffic through Heathrow So gave the bloke £5 to get some breakfast as he did come out his way to help...

The bloke did tell me to join Green Flag tho
