Well, I spent the best part of today cleaning up the front end to remove all the rust, then priming it seam sealing the seams priming again and then painting, unfortunately the paint that I had mixed at my local Halfords was like trying to apply paint with a hose set on jet rather than a nice mist so the finish is pretty poor, I think i will get a litre mixed up and gun it on properly, I may also do the inner wings if I decide to paint it properly.

Anyway here are some pics.

Bit of cleaning up

In red oxide etch prime

All the brackets to be blasted and stove enameled

Seam sealed

Primed

Painted badly

It still needs some waxoil protection once I have decided if im going to paint it again.
