I think it is the water pump mate.
BMW apparently issued a revised pump with brass blades rather than plastic ones it came with originally? Apparently mine has the revised one but i rekon its still the problem.
Will phone down to fairbairns on monday morning for a price, Arnies discount normally only brings it down to a sensible price though!!
Often wonder if its worth paying extra for OEM or if saving a bit on a pattern part is just as good!
