If someone can confirm it's an IDE drive inside, then you are welcome to drop it round to me and I'll stick it in my machine, or in one of my spare three external cases I have and see if it works or can find out whats wrong with it if you like.....

Only work if it's and IDE interface drive tho as I don't have any sata connections......
