open it, yes the warranty may go out then! is most likely is a IDE drive in there
connect it to your computer using the cable that is going to the cd rom, dvd what ever, connect it.

start up the computer, it should now pop up!

if it says that you have to format it make sure you quick format it (as that would take less time), and i would provide you a recovery tool!


option 2 is worth a try first though as i have done this the last week on my disk

connect the disk

right click on my computer ----> manage ----> then some where it should be something as disk management just click on that

then double click on my computer and see if it pops up!





if that works get your self an gmail account and download gmail drive and save all the pics there as a backup
