literraly just finished my 1.8zvh frst today but couldnt get it started up due to some fresh electrical problems

nothing needs changing to the cvh head fitting wise (except to use longer head bolts), its not essential but zvh's react well to some head work. although mines standard except for being gas flowed.

if your buying a ready built zvh bottom end then all the cvh bits pretty much bolt straight on. the only things i had to do was open up the cvh flywheel bolt holes slightly, and use a 1.3 cvh cambelt tensioner (costs £50 from ford ). some ppl say the 1.6cvh tensioner fits if you mount your water pump at an angle, but the 1.6 one physically wont fit because the wheel touches the top pully.

all in all its a dead easy conversion to do. infact i found the t3 conversion more hassle to do parts wise

as for chip and injectors - im using beiges and a 195chip, im hoping for a reliable 200bhp at about 14psi.

the 2.1zvh conversion has a bit more involved in it than the 1.8 but il leave that for someone else to explain as i havnt done one.

let me know if you want any more details.

cheeRS.
