Most engine builders seem agree that genuine Cosworth Racing Pistons are the probably the best (Without going over the top).

But what other options have we.

What is the differnece between Mahle 4 x 4 pistons and 2wd ones...?? Other than the offset gudgeon pin. Is there any difference to the comp ratio ??

And what are the other options and what Comp Ratio are they available in. Or does one have to machine their pistons to get a particular cr.

Just thought it might give some idea's to people building up new bottom ends and give them some choices of pistons and cr's.

And of course which is suitable for what ....... BHP Levels.

I know there's plenty of makes producing pistons now for the cossie.
