Im sick of hearing this Liverpool being considered as a "big" team, in terms of the EPL, they simply are not. They do well in Europe (usually) but thats as far as it goes.

Couldn't agree more, i think the only reason Lineker, Hansen, Garth, Gray, Keys, Redknapp and Lawro and his 'mini league talk within the league' all say Big four is because of the CL places which give teams extra revenue over say those who are just in the 3 competitions (excluding UEFA as its worthless, just ask Liverpool when they won the 'floppy Treble' in 2001 or whenever). If we are talking about big teams as in the big one the Premiership then what have Liverpool done? Surely only Man United, Arsenal and Chelski should be the big teams, NOTE teams not necessarily clubs. Liverpool were 21 points behind last year, missed out on CL place not too long back but got it due to being holders and this season they are what 12 points behind already?
Surely they can't be in the 'Big 4' just because they got £40m+ from the new owners as they are always in this 'Big four'. Maybe its just because of their history and club stature in the English game but i don't think that's fair, as i say they've done nothing since the PL and before.
I don't know why we are talking about Liverpool to be honest as they aren't involved in the game or supported by the thread starter nor in the title race (unless you're on heroin or Rafael Benitez). Maybe its just the rivalry and i welcome any banter in my direction as we all know I'm going to hit you lot when you get it wrong.
Funny though that Liverpool dropped even more points at home since this against a weak team, what with all the "this is how you beat Bolton" shite. Why can't they win the Premiership? Fucked if i know. Maybe its pressure maybe they will get it eventually like we did after so long. Who knows but it doesn't appear that Rafa does. Personally i think Chelski could be a surprise package. They are in the Big THREE but people seem to have written them off and they are getting results perhaps they shouldn't.

Maybe a bit strong mate but yes again i agree. I'm not sure why Big G started this at me, maybe he thinks i'm a cunt maybe he thinks he's close to us like Tottenham think they are close to Arsenal in terms of size and in turn Arsenal think they are close to us. I sincerely hope its just banter though and about getting one over on me for a slip up as lets be honest they will win fuck all this season. Sure it's city rivals but he doesn't support West ham or one of the big 3, nor Liverpool who (we) hate each other. know its city rivals but personally i don't even look at them. It'd be a laugh if they nicked Liverpool's CL place just outside of the Big three but i can't see them being that bad. Liverpool may have a few too many jokes in their squad (Kuyt etc) but Man City have the likes of Empenza, Dessel etc etc.
