i did! the other place said there was nothing wrong. ford realised that even though the ecu said there was nothing wrong, HO of 3500 at idle constitued as something wrong turned out to be a loom/ecu issue that was untracable and ended up scrappign the car.

anyway! in other news, i put 1/2 a tank or so of shell V-power diesel in today and may have made a very slight difference, although may just be my mind tricking me. will see how it goes over the next 100 miles or so and report back. fuck running it on that all the time though, £1.13 per litre i nearly followed through!!!
