There were, and if they had been fitted with a decent intercooler they would have been relatively competitive in group n I suspect, in fact IIRC they did ok on a couple of cold rallys, like norway or somewhere.

But comparing them to a fucking group b rally monster is a bit on the daft side, its like comparing a touring car to an f1 car, they both go round the same tracks, but thats where the similarity ends!
