CNC heads/Ric Wood engine tuning. Saw them at the autosport last year, and looked top notch. That's where I would be going.

OK, you want the ultimate Cossie head? We have the ultimate Cossie head. Our Big valve Ford Cosworth head is simply awesome. 191.5 CFM inlet and 133.4 CFM exhaust at 10" pressure. A massive 57% increase in CFM flow on inlet and 40% increase in exhaust flow over standard
Our gas flow engineering process measures flow as per a normally aspirated engine as turbo boost on a modified car cannot be easily simulated. However, our flow figures are nonetheless impressive. A normally aspirated engine could produce as much as 301 BHP at 8100 rpm or 331 BHP at 10,000 rpm (if you dare) with this head. This is without a turbocharger !!
Depending on your boost, mapping, exhaust and other factors such as air temprature and barometric pressure, intercooler efficiency etc, a turbo charged engine with this head could easily exceed 800 BHP. This would make a stunning road or race car but because you engine runs more efficiently with this head, it would also be controllable and usable with superb low down power, less turbo lag, a lower power band and better fuel economy. For any given revs you could run lower boost and still get the same power or you could crank up the boost and get even more power everywhere.
This head is intended for race purposes or road car owners who simply want devastating power from their cars. This head increases the engine's full potential and allows you to take your tuning as far as you want with the absolute maximum flow using this bigger valve size.
Remember, all our heads are fully balanced across the cylinders. The CFM ratings we state here are exactly what you get and we have tested power predictions on our Dyno to within 1 BHP of our prediction. Buy with absolute confidence that you are buying a head with a huge amount of expert development work built in and will perform as we say they will.
Need a full race engine ? Contact us for details. We supply fully built race engines built in-house to the highest specification.
Cost for this head is £1250.00 + vat on an exchange basis. (£600 exchange). A 'taping' service is also available for this head at an additional cost of £100 which will give the final hand finish to the ports and provide a further 1% flow. Please note : Valves are supplied at extra cost on this head.
