I can just about handle the coil pack and Maf sensor, but the power steering pump is main worry.

I can`t do that myself and have a feeling a garage will charge a fair bit to do it. The car has done 173k so i `m wondering what will go wrong next...

But saying that, the car does have FULL service history including paperwork from Essex Police from when they had it, its had a new clutch, brakes, and a few more bits fitted in October so could be worth selling on when fixed.

Going to ring a couple of garages and see what they say with the power steering pump....
