does anybody know much about sky plus boxes, or anybody a sky engineer. I deleted a recorded top gear and the box froze up whilst it said deleting

I unplugged/plugged back in and now top gear is still listed as a program but cant be viewed and hard drive space has been free'd up so i assume it's been semi deleted. Problem is if i go into planner and scroll down past top gear the box freezes again and has to be unplugged...

Guess it prob gonna be a hard drive reset but will lose all my recorded programmes.... thought might be a way to refresh hard drive index without deleting maybe??

Anybody got a clever fix??
