well heres my experience - the bars go on the steering arms on the front and the chain goes up and over and moves the arms when going round a bend cant really explain it in words its weird how it works but it does lol - ive towed my mk2 escort back from brum approx 20 miles from me with no problems what so ever. then towed a mk4 escort back from swindow 75 miles from me and something didnt seem right but put it on the same way as did the mk2 and had 2 stop 2 times to tighten the straps, then we went round a bend and one of the straps came off and the mk4 hit the towing car lol not much damage but fookin scary. im now poised as to weather to get 1 or not as this one was my mates lol
