things are fine with the car now. it might have been a defective set of whatever they did. since i don't have the parts i don't know...and maybe that was their logic! thank you for confirming that they didn't need to keep the parts! the engine size is a 4 cyl., 02 ford. i am "across the pond" in the usa, so thank you for the offer, but i am not near you! i had no idea this was entirely a uk site.

i will keep an eye and an ear out and since i work at a large place and have the ability to give references, well, they won't get any!
