I was on the Cook report when one of his programs was about the beer smuggling
He had one of his Reporters with a hiden Camera come into our office and bought a pallet of Stella
I thought it was kinda odd when i loaded the pallet onto his van in shrink as all the other "runners" used to hand stack it so it didnt look so much.

It was not until a couple of weeks later when it was on telly and i could be clearly seen counting the money and driving the forklift truck with said stella out to the "customers" van

All my close friends knew were i worked and what i done but i still fcuk'd of to Spain for a few weeks to let the dust settle

Even after i came back i still had people coming up to me and saying " I saw you on the telly" blar blar blar

Went to see a friend a few months later at a Garage 20 miles away in Mitcham when this pickup drove past and it turned out to be one of the local "Travelers" who hung out of his window and shouted " Hows it going Bruv "

Sister had Customs watching her house and i used to spent quite a time in the "sheds" at Dover having my car x-rayed every time i went through to work

Shuttle was just as bad if not worse because as you come out of the French Customs shed, you drive in a straight line about 100 yards straight into the English Customs Sheds. Well thats what i used to do every 2 weeks anyway

I was so used to it i used to have 2 fags rolled ready, one for each "pull"
