Its doesnt add any value at all. The only thing it MAY do is add desireable value. Two identical houses for sale next door to each other. One with conc section garage one without will be valued same. One with sectional garage would probably sell first due to it having a garage.
WHAT

I live in a row of 4, ours being the end, and with a free standing concrete garage and 1 car drive, making it the only house like it on our row and even more so on our estate.

Last valuation ours was valued at £7k more than next doors, and £5k more than the other end house on our row,
The garage, drive and 4foot of leveling and dropping the kerb came all in to just under £5k, deduct the fact that we have off road parking and a deduction in car insurance as the car is garaged then I would say value added,
Plus on paper my house is £5k dearer than the closest style.
