the low lift pump doesnt need to be and wont be enough to fuel a large turbocharged engine as all its doing is keeping the pot topped up
of course it needs to be able to flow as much as the high pressure pump. otherwise when the engines consuming more fuel that the poxy lift pump can supply, the pot will run dry and rad will end up with 3 and a 1/2 pistons instead of 4.
