. Also check it dosn't pull to the left and check for uneven tyre wear, they really suffer from front subframe bush problems, and can kill tyres VERY quickly if they are not spot on. Apart from that they are great cars, nice to drive and munch miles easy

I had one for 2 years so I am fully aware about the tyre munching

but the flywheel thing- my mate had his done and I honestly drove mine like I stole it as it was a work car and had no probs in best part of 80k.. I can only say thats luck of the draw- £700 sounds nice and cheap..
Maybe I'll buy a golf instead.
