when you mod this car your building, when you mod the car ask yourself whats more important
A) getting the car to do the job required and be reliable and have fun with it
B) use the car and when done with it dont loose much money breaking it
if the answer is B then go for 175bhp conversion as the bigger the spec of the engine when parts break the bigger the bill to replace it
drive a car with the power, decide if thats what you want
theres a reason why i sold kam my old engine,,, AND THATS CAUSE THE CAR WILL DRIVE LIKE A PEICE OF SHITE,,,, yet a cossie felt comfortable at the samepower,,,, infact more fun
hence why ive got all the bits to finish my cabrio off,, AND more to make a 230ish bhp cabrio, yet i cant be bothered
buying second hand does save cash,though you may have to spend twice as much and do the job twice if it fails
