I think for the £1500 as well you get a new ARB and Tiebar setup, Engine Mounts, Gearbox Mounts, new Drive Shafts (not cut and welded jobs), 4 CV joints, Quick shift gear linkage, AP clutch... when you put a gearbox onto the price of this I think the fitted costs are pretty reasonable.
if it is a paddle clutch etc im not disputing the cost, i just dont leave my car anywhere anymore after having so many attempted thefts/thefts (dont take that wrong as its not aimed at anyone). and car is esculating out of control for what the shell actually is
. and other thing being as i have just bought new paddle, had flywheel skimmed, balanced etc i would need to sell these bits and my main concern would be making the gearbox fit into the car (clearing inner wing) which i can do whiles saving
.how much can it cost to fabricate shafts, mount and linkage? im happy paying a fair price to justify the work done but would like to do it all myself
