That's what everyone says on t'internet. I'm not too worried about it as long as its not an infection. The infected file is known for absolutely hammering your speed.

My PC and the one I fixed aren't lightening fast, but not really a major problem. Just wanted to give it the absolute clean bill of health before I gave it back and that was the only thing I was suspicious of.

So, if I turn the Automatic Update service off, what is the best procedure for keeping up-to-date with updates?
