Society carries on lowering its standards, everything gets more and more out of hand, at the same time more and more powers keep getting handed to the police, eventually we end up something along the lines of judge dread.
I can go with that actually... I can see the UK becoming a police state within the next 30-50yrs if social decline carries on as it has been over the last 10-15.....
