Default My Group A 1994 Replica (UPDATE) motorsport lamp pod fitted

Hi all have been out of the RS seen for the last 18 months.I wanted to build an escoz RALLY REP but didnt have funds ,so i built a replica of JUHA KANKKUNENS 1994 GROUP A CELICA which turned out to be a bloody stunning and very acurate car

Before how car looked when i started the project

After

The car i needed to find was a non sunroof model as a per rally car ,So i managed to find a white motorsport 909 escoz , It is built mostly to group N spec ,with all osbourne drive shafts ,diffs ,and close ratio box,the engine and pretty much everything else is GRAHAM GOODE the car has every bill from new the folder is 6"inches thick and has over £65000 of reciepts, i have had the car a month and have spent a further £5000 on it already, the car has only done 38000 miles from new and has been kept outside for the last few years so the rust had got into it slightly.

She is now in the body shop having a new battery tray and a sill fitted, also while she is in the paint shop i have got some morrettes to be painted a piaa lamp pod, also the bonnet new grill and bumper are being painted to get rid of a few stone chips, i have also purchased a set of RIPLEYS 18"group A wheels as these are needed to finish of the looks,
The paint compomotive use to finish them is so bright it makes diamond white look yellow so they are being painted diamond white as well, all the 1994 RALLY MONTE CARLO GRAPHICS are ready after nearly 2 months of reserch and gathering pics of the car of the net and mags.Hope fully she should be ready late feb ill get some more pics up in a few weeks when i see her back cheers andy

As she was before going into the body shop
