You could fit a spacer between the end of the inner cable at the gearbox end and the clutch arm where it rests, this would do the same thing, ie make the inner shorter in relation to the outer.
Just use a bit of tube, cut a slit in it, slide it over the inner cable between the arm and end nipple of the cable, experiment with the length of the tube till you are happy.
