not sure the black top is a straightforward swap, certainly the 2.0 silvertop out of the mondeo is a strait swap bar flywheel, sump, oil pickup pipe and anciliaries. think the black top has slightly different engine mount pounts.

i'm plannin on doin a 2.0l mondeo transplant in mine in a year or 2 (when insurance allows) and then gettin a blacktop head worked on with some cams and throttle bodies an that will bolt straight onto the silver top block
