i was told that the std wiring on my car has resistors that might cap the output of my uprated pump.

i'm getting det at high revs so was suggested to re-wrie the pump through a relay so it is getting more power through it

can someone tell me how to go about this? i'm under the impression that this is done alot on cossies?

wire from the battery going into the relay, one wire form the igntion to give the switchable feed, and the live wire going to the pump?

this sound right? anyone know what relay pins for what?
