I thought it was me going mad and doing something wrong, I will take off the anti squeal shim and see how they go then, I was thinking of grinding some of the coating off but don't have a wheel wide enough to ensure an even grind

whats the difference between the yellow and red stuff then as I do want to use the car on the road occasionally as well as on the track
