Depends if you listen to the experts, or the uninformed....

The M3's with high PCP's (peak cylinder pressures) are better suited than your average power output shopping trolley car for LPG.
Someone on here has one.

For real world performance I'd have the diesel.
I've an older M3, and flat out it doesn't hang about, but for overtaking compared to a remapped 330d you'd have to be above 5000 revs, or squeeze the throttle a bit at 2000 in the diesel.
Look what Carl has posted - was a vid on youtube of an M3 Vs 330d, dunno if still about, but nothing much in it.
Be nicer car to do a lot of miles in I'd think.

Followed one the other day on a 60mph A road, overtook the car in front in about a tenth of a second, was mindblowingly quick, never seen anything like that.
Really are the kings of overtaking, which these days with cunts doing 40mph everywhere, is what you need

and does a late 13 sec quarter stock, capable of a mid 13 stock if conditions and my 60ft was better!!

Midrange is unbelievable!

Will let you know after the re-map tomorrow how she goes
