You can't pick between them untill you have driven them IMO.
Ive driven M3's and 330d/530d's mate, but not an M5. Of course id like an M3 or M5 over the diesels but doing big miles its obviously going to save me a big wedge of money, which seems the sensible option.
I was hoping the M's could see mid 30's really though.
