Really that low, i was sort of hoping that the M's would do over 30 on a run. , that way i could 'sort of' justify getting one over a diesel.

Looks like the M5 is certainly out of the question if it gets less than 25 on a run though.

So basing the 530d/330d on 45 mpg, then the M3 would use about 50% more than those, so as said that would be a big chunk of money over the year.

The diesels looking like the sensible option then, which i knew deep down anyway really and certainly sounds good with the re-map.

How much was the re-map and what sort of power and torque increases have you seen roughly? Also, has the re-map actually made it better on fuel now to when it was standard?
